Wainfleet Community Fund

May 03 2013

The Wainfleet Community Fund exists to support other charities whose work helps make Wainfleet a better place to live. The Fund supports initiatives from a broad spectrum of interests including arts and culture, education, recreation, social services, health and the environment. We have a team of volunteers in place working with donors and charities to locally promote the work of your community fund. The Wainfleet Community Fund is one of the family of funds within the Niagara Community Foundation. The first gift to create the fund was a commitment of $25,000 from the Township of Wainfleet.

Our Vision

Promoting philanthropy to build a healthy and vibrant Wainfleet

Our Mission

The Wainfleet Fund links caring people to their community forever by:

  • Building endowments focusing on Wainfleet’s community needs
  • Granting monies with integrity, sensitivity and creativity
  • Collaborating with the community and individuals to meet the philanthropic goals of the donors and the needs of the community
  • Facilitating individual gifts that will have a long term benefit for the community
