 The Niagara EMS Pedal Angels are a group of dedicated paramedics who have been raising funds and placing Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the region of Niagara. Over the last two years the Pedal Angels have raised more than $50,000 and have placed almost 20 AEDs.

Niagara Region 2013 Poetry Contest

Niagara Region is pleased to announce the second annual Niagara Region Poetry Contest.   Last year’s inaugural contest, held in commemoration of Niagara’s designation as a Cultural Capital of Canada for 2012, saw a number of outstanding works submitted, and the Region is pleased to invite Niagara residents once again to submit their original poetry in either official language.
