Parking
Township By-law 10-2018 regulates parking for the safety of our residents and visitors and can be viewed on our Common By-laws page. We monitor parking infractions through patrols and on a complaint basis. You can use the Contact Us form on this page to send us an email with your parking concerns. After hours concerns should also be brought to the attention of the Niagara Regional Police Service at 905-735-7811.

Accessible parking |
Accessible parking is available at the following Township facilities. Parking in these areas without a proper permit carries significant penalties. |
Beach parking |
There is limited parking available in beach areas and there are signs to clearly indicate where parking is prohibited. It is your responsibility to ensure you park legally and safely. Parking in prohibited areas carries penalties up to and including the towing of vehicles. Permits are now available to Wainfleet residents for use in designated areas on the west side of Brawn Road and the north side of Lakeshore Road. |
Emergency routes |
There are several established emergency routes in the Township, required for our Fire department to access during emergency response. Parking in these areas carries increased penalties and is strictly enforced. Parking in all of these areas is prohibited at all times, every day:

Online Payments |
You can pay your penalty online. Be advised that a 2.5% user fee will be charged. Please note that if your payment is made beyond fifteen days from the Penalty Notice being issued, there is a $25.00 late fee added . The Township cannot accept partial payments. Please use the Penalty Notice number for the account number (starting with the letter "L" followed by a four-digit number). |
Penalties |
We administer parking infractions in accordance with By-law No. 20-2014. Penalty notices are due within fifteen days of issue. The back of the penalty notice shows your options for paying or challenging it. You may request a screening review to challenge your penalty notice if you believe that the notice was issued in error or if there are legitimate extenuating circumstances to account for the offence occurring.
